A prototype was designed using natural white ash hardwood as the main material so that it would correspond with the ash used for baseball bats. The edges were accented with ebony to complete the desired appearance. All parties involved loved the outcome and the school placed an order for 36 lockers to be constructed and delivered within eight weeks.

The wooden lockers impress opposing team members and many inquire about having them installed at their own schools. They give the players a feeling of pride and might improve their attitudes enough to win a few extra games.
