The idea for wooden lockers developed after a student athlete spoke to his father about having his college locker room look more like a professional team's locker room. Needing new accommodations for his team, the head coach of the baseball team listened to his star player's pitch for attractive and durable wooden lockers. The coach agreed that he would evaluate and consider installing the finished product.
